Privacy Policy
Last updated June 2026. Plain-English summary of what this site does and doesn't do with your data.
The short version
- The values you type into the tools (IP addresses, domains, email headers, hostnames) are processed in memory to produce a result and are not stored.
- We keep only anonymous, aggregate usage counts (which address family and prefix length were calculated) — never the actual addresses, and never tied to you.
- We do not sell or share your data.
What is processed and kept
| Tool | What you enter | What we keep |
|---|---|---|
| Subnet calculator | IP / CIDR | IP version + prefix length only (anonymous count); a salted, truncated hash of your IP for rough unique-visitor totals — not reversible to your address |
| DNS tools | Domain / IP | Nothing stored; live DNS queries are made from our server |
| SSL checker | Hostname / port | Nothing stored; a live TLS connection is made from our server to the host you enter |
| Email header analyzer | Raw headers | Nothing stored; parsed in memory and discarded when the response is sent |
| Speed test | — | Nothing stored; transfers test data between your browser and our server |
| Password generator | — | Passwords are generated entirely in your browser and never sent to us |
Cookies
We use cookies only for:
- Consent — to remember your choice about advertising cookies (a single
ipcalc_consentcookie). - Advertising — if you accept, Google AdSense may set cookies to show and measure ads (see below). If you decline, the ad scripts are not loaded.
The tools do not require cookies to work.
Third-party services
- Google AdSense (only if you accept cookies) — serves advertising and may use cookies to personalise and measure ads. See Google's Privacy & Terms. You can decline via the consent banner, and manage personalised ads at Google Ad Settings.
- ipapi.co — the "Your public IP" panel asks this service, from your browser, for an approximate location and ISP for your address. Your IP is shared with ipapi.co only to perform that lookup; our server is not involved.
Server logs
Like all web servers, the host keeps standard access logs (IP address, time, page requested) for security and troubleshooting, retained per the hosting provider's defaults. Admin-panel logins are logged (account, time, IP) as a security audit trail.
Your choices
- Decline advertising cookies any time via the banner; clearing your cookies will prompt it again.
- Because we don't store what you enter or hold accounts, there is no personal profile to access or delete.
